Title pretty much explains itself. What do you want to see in Cataclysm? Paladins shiting rainbows? Druids getting carebear form? Warlocks NOT getting the coolest tier sets? Punting Goblins? Yoda?

I'm going to instead answer the question "What do you want to see in WoW in the future," since we already know almost everything about Cataclysm:

4. More world events that actually have lasting changes. Gates of Ahn'Qiraj was the last non-expansion event to do this.

3. Playable Vrykul- the only thing that would get me to ever roll a non-Worgen character again after Cata.

2. Graphical Overhaul. Please. At least the character models, I'm sick of looking at my fugly human that was even fairly crappy looking in 2004.

1. Story mode for raids. I hate raiding, and that's not going to change. At the same time, I paid for the content and the only reason I bought WoW in the first place was because I like the lore. So I'm basically getting shafted out of experiencing the major turning points of the ongoing story because I don't like raiding.
Story Mode
-Makes the raid soloable (or even just 5-mannable) at level cap in quest gear.
-Drops no gold, no gear, no rep, and no tokens of any kind.
-Purpose is purely to let non-raiders who like the lore to see the bosses and the story events related to them.

I would give someone at Blizzard a blow job to make that last one happen. Seriously.

I agree with you. Especially with the lore part. Having read all of the world of warcraft and warcraft books i find the lore fascinating. And hopefully there will be a way to make it more integral to raiding. Also i wish they would put a way to do a dungeon finder for raids. I dont have time to join a raiding guild or any guild the have SPECIFIC raid times and it would be nice to get good enough gear to go to ICC, so I can see whats in there and maybe even kill arthas.

Also i want a deathwing mount

Have a "5 man" mode on the raids would be great. I'm not that knowledgeable on the lore but I loved the lore quests in Wrath, particularly the one with the little ghost boy in Ice Crown. I'd like to raid more but our guild is tiny, with about 7-8 regulars, so raiding doesn't happen much for us. I'm just not sure how they could retune the encounters for 5 man. It's probably already painful setting up 10 and 25. But it would sure be nice if they could pull it off.

I haven't kept up with the news, so maybe this is all out there already, but I'm curious / concerned as to how the lore goes now. It seems like Blizzard has covered most of the history that was brought out in Warcraft 2 / 3. I listened to an interview a while back where they seemed pretty confident they could come up with new story, but a lot of what I enjoyed about WoW is getting up close & personal with characters that I had only seen from a distance in the RTS. How is Blizzard going to proceed?

Live Nude Blood Elves (as if they're good for anything else now that we can have Tauren Paladins).

I'm sure they'll come up with something, and I'm sure it will be reasonably good. I'm just thinking back to a Blizzard podcast I listened to where the devs said that in BC, a lot of people (myself included) didn't pick up on the storyline, so in WotLK they wanted to make story front & center. And clearly they did a great job of that. I'm just hoping they can do the same thing next expansion.
